Position Summary
The Operations and Business Development Manager plays a critical leadership role at Ergoworks Malaysia, responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations of retail outlets and roadshows while driving the strategic growth of the company’s revenue through business development, channel sales, and digital platforms.This role requires a blend of operational oversight, sales acumen, and partnership cultivation.
Key Responsibilities- Retail and Operational Management
Oversee day-to-day operations of Ergoworks retail stores across Malaysia.
Ensure operational efficiency, high standards of customer service, and team productivity.
Manage in-store staffing, training, performance reviews, and scheduling.
Lead visual merchandising and stock management efforts.
Track and report on store KPIs and implement continuous improvement plans.- Roadshow & Event Execution
Plan, organize, and execute nationwide roadshows and promotional events.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless event operations.
Evaluate effectiveness and ROI of events and implement improvement measures.- Business Development and Channel Sales
Identify and develop new sales channels including partnerships, distribution networks, and B2B opportunities.
Lead strategic business development initiatives to increase revenue and market reach.
Manage Ergoworks presence on digital marketplaces and social commerce platforms.
Develop channel strategies and promotional campaigns for targeted customer segments.
Establish, maintain, and grow relationships with key partners and stakeholders.- Strategic Sales Growth
Drive the achievement of monthly and quarterly revenue targets across all sales channels.
Implement innovative approaches to penetrate new markets and expand customer base.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform commercial strategies.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Retail and channel sales growth (monthly/quarterly/yearly)
Operational excellence: store audit scores, customer satisfaction metrics
Number and quality of partnerships secured
Performance of e-commerce and social selling platforms
Event ROI and engagement success- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales operations or related roles, preferably in retail and corporate sales environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge or experience in retail HR management will be an advantage.
