Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented Supply Chain Executive to oversee sourcing, purchasing activities and ensure that purchased items are both cost-efficient and of high quality. The responsibilities of this role include maintaining positive supplier relations, evaluating supply options and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement, Sourcing and Planning- Ensure adherence to company procurement SOP, policies, and procedures.
- Manage daily operational purchasing, including planning and issuing purchase orders.
- Collaborate with Finance for payments, credit notes, and invoice discrepancy resolution.
- Coordinate extensively with the Product, Operations, Logistics, Inventory, and Finance teams for seamless business operations.
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers for pricing, samples, and terms to secure the best deals.
- Source new suppliers and analyze pricing proposals for competitiveness.
- Cultivate and maintain positive supplier relationships, fostering business partnerships.
- Prepare comprehensive purchasing reports and update price lists.
- Document and track all ordered/received goods, maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Update, control, and verify documentation for project/campaign compliance.
- Assist in product costing, pricing, and maintaining internal Product Specifications.
- Handle ad hoc tasks assigned by superiors.
- Develop and implement safety guidelines for supply chain processes
- Analyze Supply Chain operational performance data and find areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Goal-oriented and a team player
- Able to perform overtime to troubleshoot urgent/emergency matters.
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Speak and write fluently in English and Malay, ability in Mandarin is an advantage
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent certifications or at least 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably from FMCG or similar industry.
