Supply Chain Executive

Position Responsibilities

Procurement & Inbound Logistics Management:

• Coordinate and oversee inbound logistics activities, including transportation, customs clearance, and warehousing, to ensure timely receipt of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders and logistics partners to optimize transportation routes, minimize costs, and enhance efficiency.
• Liaise with suppliers to place procurement orders, negotiate pricing and terms, and ensure timely delivery of materials and components in accordance with production schedules
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies to maintain quality standards and minimize disruptions.

Inventory Management:

• Utilize inventory management systems and implement demand forecasting strategies to optimize inventory levels and prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
• Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams to manage demand and generate accurate and timely reports for decision-making purposes.

Fulfilment:

• Coordinate with fulfilment partners and distribution centers to manage order processing, picking, packing, and delivery including handling of returned deliveries.
• Monitor delivery performance and address any issues or discrepancies to ensure efficient and on-time delivery to retail customers.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within the supply chain, and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in supply chain management in a related industry.
• Strong understanding of inbound logistics, procurement processes, inventory management, and outbound fulfilment operations.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel.
• Preferably have basic level of proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools, such as ERP systems and inventory management systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of supply chain management.
