Education
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or related field
- 3–5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in the F&B or restaurant industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with IFCA system is an advantage
- Familiar with supply chain operations and management
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and cost-conscious
- Proactive with strong teamwork and communication skills
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English, Malay, and Mandarin (for effective communication with various suppliers)
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers
- Compare quotations to ensure quality and best value
- Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records
- Control costs and minimize wastage
- Ensure the quality and safety of all purchased materials
- Carry out daily procurement tasks such as price comparisons, order placements, and issuing purchase orders
- Prepare relevant purchasing documentation for the finance team
- Maintain close communication with the kitchen and store manager to ensure timely supply of materials
- Negotiate pricing and payment terms with suppliers to secure the best deals
- Process purchase requests promptly and follow up on order status
- Inspect the quality of received goods
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, suppliers, and quantities
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
- Assist project teams in material planning and cost control
- Support additional purchasing-related tasks as required
