Sales Development Representative (Remote)

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic team. This role will be partly working for us (as a marketing agency) and also for one of our clients (SaaS industry). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales development within the SaaS industry, demonstrating expertise in prospecting, outreach, and lead qualification.
Additionally, experience in remote sales environments and proficiency with AI and automation tools are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Target Account Identification:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive list of target accounts based on strategic criteria.
- Conduct in-depth research to identify key decision-makers and stakeholders within these accounts.
- Prospect Outreach:
- Use multi-channel communication strategies to engage prospects, including cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn messaging.
- Craft and refine personalised outreach messages and sales scripts to convey our value proposition effectively.
- Lead Qualification:
- Assess and qualify leads to determine their fit and potential as sales opportunities.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings or demos for qualified prospects with the sales team.
- Tool Utilization and Automation:
- Leverage prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo and Apollo to gather accurate contact information and insights.
- Implement AI and automation tools to enhance efficiency in prospecting and outreach activities.
- Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and share insights.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM system and provide regular reports on outreach activities and outcomes.
- Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a remote SDR or in a similar role within the SaaS industry.
- Demonstrated success in cold calling, emailing, and utilising LinkedIn for prospecting.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed lead generation and qualification targets.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Proficiency with prospecting tools like ZoomInfo, Apollo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Experience with AI and automation tools to streamline sales development processes.
- Familiarity with CRM systems for tracking and managing prospect interactions.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and research abilities to identify and engage potential clients effectively.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
- Experience in selling SaaS and marketing tools is a significant advantage.
