The Senior Executive, Learning & Employee Engagement is responsible for planning and executing learning and employee engagement initiatives across the organization. This includes managing end-to-end training administration, driving engagement programs, and supporting performance tracking to foster workforce development and growth.The role plays a key part in aligning learning and development efforts with organizational goals by managing internal communications, engagement events, and ensuring compliance with training policies. The position will also provide backup support for recruitment activities when required.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES- Initiate the complete training administration process, focusing on HR Development Corporation (HRD Corp) processes, claims, and compliance.
- Develop and manage internal communications to drive employee engagement and promote company values and initiatives.
- Lead the coordination of employee engagement programs and activities, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a positive work culture.
- Organize and facilitate Knowledge Sharing Webinars (KSW) and ensure continuous learning opportunities for employees.
- Manage logistics for corporate events related to employee engagement and learning initiatives.
- Provide support in the identification of critical roles and key talent and high-potential employees (Hibiscus Retention Enhancement (HRE) Recipients) for succession pipelines through performance and potential assessments.
- Maintain and update the talent matrix and succession plans database.
- Track and monitor the progress of key talent and high-potential employees (Hibiscus Retention Enhancement (HRE) Recipients) and ensure development opportunities are provided.
- Analyze the relevant data and prepare the presentation materials and insights for talent review sessions.
- Track performance management processes, ensuring consistency and compliance with organizational goals and objectives.
- Act as a learning coordinator for special programs and developmental initiatives, ensuring smooth execution.
- Review and enhance policy on training, employee engagement, and learning initiatives; assist in policy development and updates.
- Provide comprehensive support to the Lead of Organizational Development, in executing projects and programs aimed at organizational growth.
- Act as a backup for recruitment activities, assisting in candidate sourcing, interviews, and onboarding as required.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification from recognized universities.
- At least 5-8 years’ experience in learning and development, employee engagement, or a similar role in a corporate environment, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
- Knowledgeable of training and development processes, especially in managing HR Development Corporation (HRD Corp) processes and claims.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ability to coordinate and manage events and webinars effectively.
- Proficiency in performance management tracking systems and reporting.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support organizational development goals.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and learning management systems (LMS).
- Certified HR Professional or equivalent (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is an added advantage.
- Completing courses in Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, or Talent Management is an added advantage.
- Certification in Project Management or Event Management is a plus.
