• Lead the design, development, and optimization of Android applications interfacing with hardware devices.
• Collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, and backend teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Develop and maintain secure and efficient communication between Android applications and hardware components (via Bluetooth, USB, Wi-Fi, NFC, etc.).
• Optimize applications for performance, power efficiency, and real-time responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-software integration issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Android frameworks, SDKs, and industry trends.
• Mentor and guide a team of Android developers, ensuring code quality and best practices.
• Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of Android development experience, with at least 1 year in a senior/lead role.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Hands-on experience with Android frameworks, including Jetpack, ViewModels, and Coroutines.
• Expertise in hardware communication protocols such as Bluetooth (BLE), NFC, USB, Wi-Fi Direct, and Serial Communication (UART, SPI, I2C).
• Experience working with Android NDK (C/C++) for hardware interaction.
• Strong understanding of Android performance tuning, battery optimization, and low-level debugging.
• Familiarity with embedded systems, IoT, and firmware interaction.
• Knowledge of security best practices in hardware-software integration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies.
