KOL Business Development Executive - Ampang Jaya

Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field

• Language required: Fluent in English or Mandarin; Bahasa Malaysia is a plus
• Minimum 1 year of experience in influencer marketing, KOL management, or BD (preferably in beauty or lifestyle)
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Required skills: Communication, Coordination, Event Planning, Marketing Strategy
• Strong understanding of Malaysian social media landscape and influencer ecosystems, especially in TikTok and XiaoHongShu
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Passion for beauty/skincare and understanding of female consumer behavior

About the Role:

CHANDO – one of China’s top skincare brands – is expanding into the Malaysian market, and we’re assembling our local pioneer team. We are looking for a driven, well-connected individual who understands the influencer ecosystem and can help us build a strong KOL collaboration network to drive brand awareness and social commerce performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, approach, and build relationships with local influencers across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, XiaoHongShu, etc.)
• Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, branding, content) to design influencer campaigns
• Manage product seeding, sponsored content, live streaming collaborations, and affiliate partnerships
• Track campaign performance, handle agreements, and manage timelines with KOLs
• Create and maintain an influencer database and performance dashboard
• Stay updated on influencer trends, platforms, content styles, and rising creators
• Monitor market trends, competitor influencer strategies, and emerging content creators
• Coordinate influencer attendance at events, product launches, or brand activations
