Electrical & automation engineer (automotive component) - Ampang Jaya

A newly set-up MNC automotive component manufacturer is currently seeking for an Electrical & Automation Engineer to focus on the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of one of their manufacturing line.

This role requires a strong technical background in automated manufacturing systems, with expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues to ensure continuous and efficient production.

key responsibilities:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize automated solenoid production machinery.
• Perform regular maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and robotic systems.
• Optimize production processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Provide technical support to operators and technicians.
• Support preventative maintenance planning.
• Monitor production KPIs.
• Identify bottlenecks.
• Resolve control system issues.

requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an eletrical/automation engineering role within a manufacturing environment; experience in electronic component (automotive) production is a plus.
• Proven experience in programming PLCs (Omron, Mitsubishi, Keyence, Siemens).
