Val Media is a digital media network with a presence in Southeast Asia and headquartered in Malaysia. Since our inception in 2017, we’ve strived to produce high-quality, engaging content enjoyed by audiences across the world. Our media spans multiple properties, including ProductNation, Aliff Channel and Ho Kang Station.

We are currently seeking a full-time Chinese Content Creator Intern who wishes to learn the ropes when it comes to content marketing, growing social media, as well as how to run a successful campaign. You’ll also learn how we identify potential content/product topics and how we turn something mundane into something exciting.

If you have a passion for social media, content creation or content marketing, and want to see how media companies do it first-hand, this is the place for you.

Responsibilities:

• Research and curate topic for the purpose of content creation in Mandarin
• Assist in the ideation and production of Chinese video content
• Learn to study and analyse past success and failure, to improve future content

We want you if you are:

• Students or recent graduates with a Diploma or bachelor's degree in mass communication, Marketing, Visual Communication, Journalism or related fields
• Someone having an interest in social media, content ideation and video
• Fluent in Mandarin, both written and spoken, as well as knowledgeable in other Chinese dialects and are able to communicate well in English
• Have exceptional teamwork, communication or organizational skills
• Have an eye for detail
• Diligent and resourceful
