The Assistant Planner will support the production planning and scheduling efforts to ensure smooth production operations. This role will involve close collaboration with the production, procurement, and inventory teams to meet production targets, maintain material flow, and manage finished goods inventory efficiently.

Qualification:

• Minimum with good results in SPM or equivalent level.
• Able to speak in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Computer literate (Microsoft, e-mail, manufacturing related sofware, and etc.)
• Proactive (Capable to complete tasks with minimum supervision)
• Good safety awareness.
• Ensure that production targets are met by working closely with the production team.
• Monitor production timelines and address any issues that may affect delivery.
• Track and update production progress to ensure on-time completion of orders.
• Conduct additional instructions from the supervisor as necessary
• Work closely with the procurement team to determine raw material requirements based on production schedules.
• Maintain a record of material usage and monitor raw material consumption rates to optimize procurement.
• Help generate and maintain Material Requirement Planning (MRP) reports to ensure the supply of materials aligns with production needs.
• Assist in managing finished goods inventory to avoid shortages or overstock.
