Trade Marketing Manager (FMCG)
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Trade Marketing Manager to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be responsible for attaining brand activation, visibility, and awareness targets according to the company's business development strategy within assigned areas/channels.
What you'll do:
As a Trade Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's brand activation, visibility, and awareness targets. You will work closely with both the Sales and Marketing departments to ensure that promotional strategies are understood and implemented effectively.Your ability to plan and manage sales activities on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis will be crucial in achieving activation and visibility targets. You will also be responsible for managing projects within approved budgets while sourcing for the best services for timely delivery at cost efficiency.
Your role will also involve driving excellent execution on promotion, PVA, volume projection while ensuring smooth execution across various channels.
- Understand and cascade promotion strategy to support the team in achieving volume objectives
- Plan and implement sales activities monthly, quarterly, yearly to obtain activation & visibility target
- Consult direct manager on activation & visibility plan
- Source for best service (3rd party) to provide on time delivery at cost efficiency
- Drive excellent execution on promotion, PVA, volume projection
- Complete all reports accurately and timely

The ideal candidate for this Trade Marketing Manager position brings a wealth of experience from the trading field along with a strong background in marketing. With at least 5 years of relevant experience under your belt, you possess strong initiative and interpersonal skills that make you outgoing and easy to work with.Your presentation and negotiation skills are top-notch, allowing you to lead effectively while solving problems efficiently. You are comfortable working independently and under high pressure, demonstrating your resilience and adaptability. Your command of English is excellent, and you are computer literate with good skills in Microsoft Office software.
Lastly, your strategic planning and analytical skills are excellent, enabling you to drive growth and success in your role.
- University degree holder
- At least 5 years relevant experience in trading field and 2 years in marketing role
- Relevant experience in alcoholic industry or FMCG an advantage
- Outgoing with good initiative and interpersonal skills
- Good presentation and negotiation skills
- Leadership skills & problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and under high pressure
- Good command of English
- Computer literate (good skill in Microsoft Office software, Excel, Words, Power point Presentation)
- Excellent strategic planning and analytical skills
