What you'll do:

As a Key Account Manager, your role will be pivotal in driving the success of our client's business. You will be responsible for developing account strategies that align with the company's objectives, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and conducting regular business reviews.
Your collaborative approach will see you working closely with internal teams to develop tailored strategies that meet the needs of each account. With your finger on the pulse of market trends, you'll identify opportunities for new product launches and promotional campaigns.

Your analytical skills will be crucial in providing accurate sales forecasts, analysing sales data, and tracking performance metrics.

  • Develop and implement account strategies and business plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with accounts to analyse performance, identify growth opportunities, and address any challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored strategies and initiatives.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and promotions with accounts, ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for new product launches and promotional campaigns.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to demand planning activities.
  • Analyse sales data and performance metrics to track progress, evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives, and propose adjustments as needed.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Key Account Manager position brings a wealth of experience in Sales/ Key Account Management within the FMCG sector. You have proven experience managing and developing key accounts, coupled with a deep understanding of the sales process from prospecting through to close.
Your excellent communication skills enable you to negotiate effectively and present confidently both over the phone and in person. You are comfortable interacting with a broad set of businesses and stakeholders, and you have a good command of both English and Mandarin.

A Bachelor or Master Degree in BBA, Marketing or related fields is required for this role.

  • Minimum 4-5 years FMCG experience in Sales/ Key Account Management Merchandiser, Offline business.
  • Experience managing and developing key accounts.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process from prospecting to close.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interact with a broad set of businesses and stakeholders.
  • Good command of English and Mandarin.
