Job Description: Lobak Merah - Content Writer Intern

Job Summary:

This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in content writing, digital marketing, and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

1. Write high-quality and engaging content in the Malay language, including articles, blog posts, social media captions, and website copy.
2. Conduct thorough research to gather relevant information and ensure accuracy and credibility in the content

Topic Ideation:

1. Brainstorm and generate creative ideas for content topics that resonate with the target audience and align with our brand voice.
2. Stay updated on industry trends and news to identify potential content opportunities.

SEO Optimization:

1. Incorporate basic search engine optimization (SEO) techniques into content creation, including the use of keywords, meta descriptions, and proper formatting.
2. Ensure content is optimized for readability, user experience, and search engine visibility.

Content Editing and Proofreading:

1. Review and edit content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and overall clarity.
2. Ensure that content adheres to brand guidelines, style guides, and editorial standards.

Content Promotion:

1. Collaborate with the marketing team to strategize and implement content promotion efforts across various platforms, including social media and email newsletters.
2. Participate in content distribution and engagement activities to maximize the reach and impact of our content.

Performance Tracking:

1. Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, such as engagement, reach, and conversion rates.
2. Provide insights and recommendations for content optimization based on data analysis.

Collaborative Work:

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and editors, to ensure content aligns with overall marketing strategies and objectives.
2. Actively participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and content planning discussions.

Learning and Development:

1. Stay updated on industry best practices, content writing trends, and digital marketing strategies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in written Malay language, with a keen understanding of grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure.
• Excellent research and analytical skills to gather information and present it in a concise and engaging manner.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
• Basic understanding of content management systems (CMS) and digital marketing platforms.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
