About the Job
The Senior Accounts Executive will report to the Assistant Finance Manager and will be responsible for handling the full spectrum of financial operations while ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the full spectrum of company finance operations, including cash flow management and financial reporting.
- Assist in reparing and reviewing yearly budgets and financial projections.
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments, resolving purchase order and invoice discrepancies, and reducing backlog invoices.
- Reviewing reports, vendor reconciliations, and overdue open items while ensuring KPIs for accounts payable are met.
- Verifying and reviewing supplier payments, staff commission claims, and trade applications.
- Establishing and implementing effective SOPs and internal control procedures to improve finance and reporting systems.
- Ensuring timely submission of tax returns and compliance with Inland Revenue Board (IRB) regulations.
- Handling tax planning, compliance, and statutory audit reports.
- Monitoring inventory management and debtors’ aging reports.
- Liaising with internal and external auditors, tax agents, legal advisors, and bankers.
- Supporting ad hoc assignments and tasks as requested by management.
