Warehouse Manager - Batu Pahat

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations. These operations include shipping, inventory, delivery. Your goal will be to increase operational efficiency and ensure a safe environment. This position is based at Muadzam.

Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations Management:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including but not limited to receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping of food products.
• Lead all transport operations to deliver a cost-effective, high-quality service to outlets aligned to local transport regulations and accommodating the variables in demand.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards (GMP, HACCP and ISO22000)
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse processes

Inventory Control:

• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy.
• Manage inventory tracking systems and ensure proper documentation for all incoming and outgoing products.
• Ensuring stock management based on FIFO standards.
• Coordinate with production and procurement teams to align inventory levels with manufacturing needs.

Team Leadership:

• Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring they adhere to safety and operational protocols.
• Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration among staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of food products.
• Conduct regular safety training and drills for warehouse staff.
• Identify and mitigate potential hazards in the warehouse environment.

Process Improvement:

• Analyze warehouse operations and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity.
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize warehouse layout and workflow.
• Utilize technology and software to enhance inventory management and reporting.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities.
• Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance metrics to senior management.
• Ensure all documentation related to food safety and compliance is up to date and accessible

Qualification: Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and food safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work in Muadzam Shah, Pahang.
