Business Development Manager - Insurance

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in insurance sales, with at least 2–5 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and develop a sales team.
  • Good understanding of insurance products, industry practices, and local regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Recruit, train, and onboard new insurance agents to ensure they understand company policies, products, and sales techniques.
  • Supervise and support agents in meeting individual and team sales targets.
  • Monitor performance of agents and provide regular feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity, retention, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments (underwriting, claims, customer service) to ensure seamless client experience.
  • Analyze sales data, prepare reports, and present to senior management.
  • Organize regular meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews with the team.
  • Resolve conflicts or issues involving clients or agents in a timely and professional manner.
